For sale, my 2.2 VTI H22A8 Honda Prelude, 200bhp with manual gearbox & VTEC - only 78k with FSH, in Crystal Blue Metallic, owned by me since Oct 2008 Rare late model Prelude with the H22A8 red top engine & manual gearbox with closer ratios than the earlier incarnations, 200bhp as standard - great car & I'll be sad to see it go, it's done 4k per year since I've owned it & since moving house last year that's going to vastly decrease so I've decided to let it go to someone who'll actually drive it, sadly it's not practical for me anymore. Condition wise it's in great shape for a 15 year old car - a couple of little scratches & dings but nothing terrible, never had any bumps or body repairs - it picked up a slight indent on the bonnet over the winter from flying debris in high winds, this will pop out with one of those suction pullers & won't be noticeable. These cars usually have some rust round the corners of the rear arches & this is no exception, it's not particularly noticeable but it is there - if I was keeping it I'd have it fixed eventually but it's something I didn't get round to doing, didn't massively bother me to be honest. Another bit of rust round the drivers window trim, another thing that I meant to fix but time & other commitments decided otherwise. Car has just over 78k on the clock - I bought it with around 48k, Honda service history until 60k then I took it to a local Honda specialist after that who did a better job - they did the timing / tensioner belts at 65k along with the big service which included the spark plugs etc. (late 2011). Last 2 services (oil & filters) have been done by family mechanic with the last carried out in October 2014 along with the most recent MOT, had a section of slightly corroded fuel pipe replaced & that was it. Brake discs & pads were done a couple of years ago & refurbed brake calipers were fitted on the rear at the same time as these tend to seize up on this generation of Hondas, rear calipers feel slightly sticky again so might need a strip at next service to get them back 100%. Also had a new battery a couple of years ago & power steering cooler setup about a year back - anything mechanical was always taken care of promptly. Tyres are all Falken ZE-914 which have plenty of life left on them, original wheels were refurbished in metallic anthracite a couple of years ago & have picked up a few scratches since then but still look pretty good. JDM replica front lip was fitted around the same time, it's a urethane one so won't crack if you bump it - has a couple of paint chips but those will be easily touched in, I just never found the time, the side skirts are genuine Honda factory fitted parts. I was originally planning on getting all the little jobs taken care of & sourcing an original leather interior with some S2000 seats and perhaps uprgrading the suspension & exhaust system but been too busy with other commitments over the last couple of years. Interior is in fantastic shape, no rips / tears / holes / & only minimal wear on the drivers seat. Interior has the rare factory carbon fibre trim which is pretty much spotless other that a few scratches on the gear surround trim from keys etc. also has Honda Accord Type R titanium gearknob & aftermarket leather gaiter, plus aftermarket alloy gauge surrounds - nothing too flashy, still looks factory. Heated seats & full electric pack, sunroof, cruise control etc. all working fine. Factory upgraded Pioneer cd head unit sounds pretty good so I never thought of replacing it with anything more modern, was apparently the top end model at the time & an expensive upgrade. Also has factory upgrade Thatcham CAT1 alarm / immobiliser - just replaced the batteries in both fobs for peace of mind. Car comes with all original documentation / service book / manuals etc. & has all 4 keys - 2 black ones, the grey valet key (starts car but won't open the glove box) & the (sealed) red one for reprogramming the ignition. There is one remote fob for the central locking (these are easily obtained & programmed if you need a spare) plus two remote fobs for the immobiliser / alarm system with fresh batteries so you won't have to worry about those for a while. Anything I've missed please ask, cheers John
